Hopefully this one will be easier. I dont quit very many games without beating them, but this one drove me to the edge.

Oh fuck the first game. I kept getting stuck into a "get knocked down, get up, get knocked down again before I can do anything" cycle that resulted in me having to start over one too many times. The second one hasn't done itself any favors by making me sit through an annoyingly long intro before the trailer actually started.

I thought the original's visuals were very impressive, and I probably got more than halfway through the game, but it eventually became more frustrating than rewarding, and I traded it in before finishing. It didn't help that it had a typically convoluted and needlessly dense Japanese sci-fi storyline.
