This was pretty terrible/boring. Watched this in a double feature with DRAGONBALL Z: EVOLUTION. The latter embraced its goofiness and was more "fun" as a result.
Why they cast Kreuk when they had the MUCH more appropriate Moon Bloodgood on-hand is beyond me, Forgettable fight scenes. Lame origin story (too much footage of Chun homeless and sad). And a huge hole where the other missing colorful SF characters would have helped.
Why the hell did Bison have an Irish accent if he was orphaned in Thailand as an infant??? ANd why have a movie based on a tournament fighting gane, but (like the JCVD version) not feature a kickass and varied tournie? Bad form. It was promised atthe end for the sequel, but this version will NEVER get one IMO.
Klein was fairly amusing, but I expected more with him. based on all the raves.
Drinking game: drink every time you see or hear the word "Bangkok"..
