Redeemed. Last few episodes were good. Last night was interesting.

The Shiela Janet pow wow was a bit forced, but good damn was it worth every minute.

The ending was tense, in that it being Teddy, I had no idea how far the hell they where going to take it.

I just don't see them letting Tommy die. Having him as a ghost would be a bold stroke. But I just don't see it working. The other supporting carachters are good. But good enough to carry a whole season with a ghost Tommy?

**edit to add...if this had been the series finale that would have been one helluva way to go out.

Plus, who would see his 'ghost'? They've kept Tommy's ghosts as part of his personality - this isn't a "ghosts are definitely real!" show. Turning it into one would greatly weaken its impact for me.

And, btw, I mentioned just a few episodes ago about this show not doing dark but instead only doing pitch black bleakness... well...

Well, it two bullet wounds and he's an alcoholic so he isn't going to stop bleeding all that easily. So it is possible he could bleed to death if just left untreated on the floor.

Yeah, but what are the odds. Garrity had aggressive cancer and he was up and around 2 episodes later. Rescue Me deaths tend to come without warning.
