Jersey Shore Drunken Skee-Ball Brodown

Suggested in the "Going To The Bar" thread. We descend on Keansburg, get drunk on cheap booze, then I end all your asses at Skee-Ball. This all happens against the scuzzy as fuck backdrop of the Keansburg Amusement Park.

Someone figure it out, then post the plan here. I'd make the drive up.

I'm going to suggest we do it before Memorial Day (or after Labor Day, if we really drag our feet). K'burg is a glorious shithole to behold year-round, but film dorks might enjoy its aesthetics when it's empty-yet-partially-open. And no waiting for a skee-ball lane.

Either time works for me - April will be tough for me to do anything due to work, but late May is fine. Post Labor Day works for me as well - gives me the summer to work up my skee-ball skills.

Oh, and what Lima said! And there best be debauchery so I have something to not tell my wife the day after!

We still doing this? I bought 5 bottles of Glenfiddich 15 year old on special two weeks ago, and I'm saving them for the skee-ball tourney.

I figure we can do it like little league ball... "everyone gets a trophy!"

I'm free any time. I just need to have 24 hours advance notice so I can move things around, if need be. Other than that, I can be in Keenesburg in an hour.

I'm into it, but I didn't want to conflict with Iggy's BBQ get together. Hash it out in this thread and we'll do the damn thing.

As I noted above, I recommend either before Memorial Day or after Labor Day - Keansburg is extra special/awful when it's mostly abandoned. But if I'm not out of town, I'll make it up there for whenever it's decided.

Memorial Day's fine, but if you folks want to wait and do it closer to Labor Day, that's OK, too. It's looking like my whole summer should be open, aside from the Chewer BBQ and one other weekend in June (vacation).

What are Keansburg crowds like on Memorial Day weekend nowadays, anyway? Are they as packed as Seaside, Pt. Pleasant, etc.?

I'm from Philly so I'm used to the south Jersey shore...AC, Ocean City, Wildwood, etc. I've always wanted to see how different it is up north. This place looks awesome.

Pfeh. You forget, I LIVE in NJ. I see women like that every time I leave the house to hit a mall.

Once saw a woman at the Jackson Outlet Center who was so heavy her spiked heels were striking oil with every step.
