I'm fairly sure that 90% of the buses have bike racks. Talking to a friend of mine who takes the bus every day to campus (in central Austin), it seems less and less scary.

Good luck catching a spot on the racks, though, if they're anything like the ones on L.A. buses. I usually end up riding because the bus racks are full.

Life without a car sucks. I have to depend on The Rents for rides, or my younger sis. Also do alot of biking, but less now that i am living in this part of town with no shoulders on the road.
