Good Co-Op Games for 360

Army of Two!

Left 4 Dead, Saints Row 2 and Crackdown are all really fun in co-op too.

Yeah, I guess a follow-up question would be: do you need games that offer split-screen co-op?

I don't know that they would have been worth $60 but at their current price, I also enjoy GRAW and GRAW2 co-op (and it is split-screen but not 3rd person).

Gears of War was pretty fun with a friend. My friend and I are finally gonna get to GoW 2 now.

And of course, Resident Evil 5. I've read some good things about co-op in that thread.

FWIW, the best way to search the forums is to use Google advanced search and plug "chud.com/forum" into the "Search within a site or domain" box.

World at War's online co-op has some excellent moments, but the split screen is horrific.

L4D goes without saying.

I'm not a big fan of either A02 or Gears, but RE5's co-op is surprisingly good considering how bad it is played alone.

You can actually save yourself the trouble of going to the advanced and just add "site:chud.com/forum" as a keyword and it does the same thing. That way you can search specific sites straight from the search bar.

"site:whatever.com" works for any site and you can make it more specific as well by doing the / to sub-directory thing or adding a subdomain like 'msdn.microsoft.com' to just search that area.

Jake, My all time fave co-op game is...Metal Slug. If you still have a PS2 or a Wii, you can get the...Metal Slug Anthology (7 games) for $20. The Upcoming...G.I. Joe Rise Of Cobra is going to be...a co op game. There are 12 different characters to choose from and there are 4 Cobra's playable, including...Storm Shadow.

The Rainbow Six games are really good at making players act as a team instead of rushing in, Rambo style.

As someone who likes Rambo style, I did not like these games.

The LIVE version of DOOM 1 is simply awesome value for 4 player splitscreen co-op. Castle Crashers is another good co-op live title.

The newest viva pinata game is co-op as well, and you can't go past Gears of War 2 for co-op fun.

Personally I think the best co-op games I've played for the system are Army of Two and Resident Evil5.
