It's been years since I watched this series, I got series 1 and 2 on DVD, just got through series 1, it's basically a more serious version of Friends, out of all the characters I felt the most affinity for Egg, mainly his issues with the direction his life was taking and insecurity.
Egg's dad going on a club bender was great, hearing Oasis and Radiohead on constant rotation in the background felt I was reliving my early 20's all over again.
I really like Jack Davenport's performance as Miles, clueless fuck up that he is, it was really cool to see Tiptoes from Layer Cake in a supporting role.
