I don't care how many of his jokes are about food. They're all funny.

Hot pockets!

He was twitter-promoting this like a fiend for the past couple of days. I need to see it. Apparently there will be a CD/DVD combo, though, so maybe I'll just get it that way.

That's why they're funny.
He stuck to his best material- food and being lazy.

He was on Raw Dog last week, and was asking for people to send him random things to make jokes about--like chair, stapler, wall, etc. I really like Gaffigan...I used his take on vegetarians on a couple of friends that are vegetarians and vegans. "You know who's really interested in meat? Vegetarians."

The DVD of the special comes out tomorrow, though it will also air again on Comedy Central tomorrow as well.

I'm not complaining at all. He knows why he's funny and is aware his material isn't "edgy" and that's why he's one of the best stand-ups going. I applaud any comic that can make me laugh hard while discussing ketchup.

Damn, I need to see the bit on vegetarians and vegans.

I need to watch more of his standup period. Loved the Hot Pockets stuff.

I need to see the newest one too.

Finally caught this. Yea, bacon!

I wish he had spent more time ragging on the Waffle House. It's such a shithole, but the food is one of the great guilty pleasures.

King Baby is hands down his best material. The bit about escalators vs stairs and the tirade against bowling were both hilarious.

I need to download this album.

In the meantime, his comments about ordering with just a noise is amazing.

"En"
"Ennnnnnnnnnn!"
"Alright, I'll super-size it."

He spent almost a half hour talking about bacon and I didn't mind. That takes talent. Or bacon. Bacon makes everything better. Even jokes.

Bacon is so delicious, you wrap it around other foods to make them taste better.

Saw Denis Leary the other night on Letterman. He spent a good portion of his time on the show praising bacon. It's not like Gaffigan is the inventor of bacon-humor and it wasn't exactly stand-up that Leary was doing but given some of the past charges that have been levied against Leary it was uncomfortable to watch.

I finally watched this today. Sooo good. The escalator and drive-thru bits absolutely killed me.

I saw that too. Letterman asks him about his age, and then Leary goes on a diatribe about eating healthy, which then turned into how good bacon was. It was a weird transition.

It's a sign that he came on with a routine prepared, and had to trace a line from the question to his routine. Dennis Miller used to do that a lot. Annoying.
