Not a good week.

I know who to cast as Beavis for the live action Beavis and Butthead movie.

Do you want anal cancer, too?

Actually, this is hitting a little too close to home for me: my mother died on April 10th of last year from breast cancer that had spread throughout her entire body, including into her large intestine/colon.

I may have picked FF for my Dead Pool, but I'd actually be very pleased if she were to beat it somehow. Knowing what my mother went through, I don't like her chances.

Does watching Saturn 3 give you anal cancer?

I watched it for the first time last week, it wasn't that bad.

No one, and I mean NO ONE beats this guy. It's his role to lose:

Where did you find this magnificent creature? He looks like someone used his forehead as a board to chop onions.

Bad luck just rubs off Ryan O'Neal and infects everyone, doesn't it?

Dolph has really let himself go.

Hopefully Farrah can pull through it.

I'm probably a bad person, because when I read stories like this I can't help but think of what a man named Job once said, "Sometimes I worry about if anything ever happened to me... And how sad I'd be."

I'm sorry to hear that.

Five year US survival statistics published in the "Journal of the National Cancer Institute":

Quote:
* Stage 1 Colon Cancer: 93%
* Stage 2A Colon Cancer: 85%
* Stage 2B Colon Cancer: 72%
* Stage 3A Colon Cancer: 83%
* Stage 3B Colon Cancer: 64%
* Stage 3C Colon Cancer: 44%
* Stage 4 Colon Cancer: 8%
As you'll know - there are various forms of cancer (some aggressive, others less so) which will adjust those figures up or down.

Wealth is in FF's favour. Rich people get the best treatment (and quicker detection). Poor people don't. Provided it's been picked up before it metastasized and she hasn't contracted an aggressive strain that doesn't respond well to treatment her chances are probably good.

My mother was diagnosed with Stage 4 breast cancer back in 1991. She survived that (full mastectomy, up into her lymph nodes and everything), but the cancer metastasized thoughout her body. By the time that she died, she had bone, liver, and colon cancer. She was fucking made of STEEL to have been able to ignore the pain and last as long as she did, frankly.

FF seems like a fighter, so hopefully she'll pull through this.

I saw it on thesmokinggun.com years and years ago. Obviously, that's not the sort of thing you forget.

She'll just numb the pain with alcohol.

Up the butt. Because you can get drunk faster.

Just a quick note that anal cancer != colorectal cancer. If it is the former, it still has a good 5-year outcome, but the fact that it's likely HPV related is going to make for a lot of anal sex jokes.

It's spread to her liver.
post #26 of 26
If it has spread to her liver, it's only a matter of time,sadly.
