And boy what a march it will be! I think if AP can stay healthy, Carp returns to form, and Greene and the others hold true then we'll be a force. I also feel we're going to HAVE to grab another solid arm by the deadline but our management is too cheap.

I don't think you can afford Peavy. Isn't he due a shitload next year?

Carpenter now out 4-8 weeks
When the guess on an injury is that far apart it can't be good. Brings back memories of 2004-2006 for me.

Just be glad you have LaRussa and Duncan who can make Todd Wellmeyer look good.
