As a lukewarm Twins fan, seeing my team in the playoffs after such a pathetic pennant "race" wouldn't feel right. Detroit deserves it more for at least looking good for part of the season.

This last week has been agonizing. No offense, but here's hoping those Tigers of yours get swept and the Twins sneak into the playoffs at Detroits expense like they did a couple of years ago.

Yeah, I probably agree with you on that. The Twins have been too damn good this past month and the Tigers are struggling to stay interested. I'm glad we'll have Porcello on the mound as he has really stepped up his game the last few starts he's had.

Well should be a real nail biter, may the best team win.

Congrats Twins fans, you guys definitely deserved it. As for the Tigers, I don't want to be to disappointed but this was rough. That hit by pitch on Inge would have been nice to have, as would Gerald Laird not swinging at ball four, but they left it all out there and that's all you can ask for. Now if we can get our best hitter to sober up, we should be okay for next year.

Well to be fair to Cabrera, he's probably gonna need a drink or 12 to wash down the fact that they let the division slip away. I really hope Ordonez goes to the NL so I don't have to see him get big hits against the Twins anymore.

Fantastic game though.

Wow, I'm such a lukewarm Twins fan I didn't know they had a chance in hell of winning the pennant. Maybe I should read the sports page more then once a year? Anyway I'm proud of them.
