Eat it, mets!

C'mon, score enough so we don't have to bring in Lidge.

YES! The only problem is that this game shows the lack of confidence in the bullpen. You can't expect the starters to go 9 innings every game.

He goes 9 innings and steals a base? Jeeeesus. Cliff Lee, you machine you!

Game tied 5-5 in the 8th AT 1:24 IN THE FUCKING MORNING. The two last NL Champions are playing in the NLDS and none of the games have been at decent times.

Fuck Bud Selig.

Ah to not have a bullpen. Why exactly do you bring in Madson when Lee had been pitching well?

ETA: :Phew: Not sure if we have the wherewithal to take down LA again, but I'm trying to get some tix to a game!

Is this the first time since the Wildcard was introduced in 95 that BOTH the NL East and NL West Champions and the AL East and AL West Champions all played in the League Championship Series?

As a Phillies fan...

The Good: The Phillies didn't give up in game 5. Citizen's Bank Park isn't soiled with a Yankees World Series Celebration unlike Shea in 2000.

This team is built to last. We have our core for another 3 years. Hopefully we won't be one of those fluke world series teams of the last decade like the Diamond Backs, Marlins, and Cardinals.

Next Year:
-Get some better starting pitching.
-DON'T RE-SIGN PEDRO.
-Try to bring up Drabek and our prospects.
-Look into the Free Agent Market
-Replace our bench.
-Fire Stairs, Bruntlett.
-Put Mayberry Jr and Taylor from the minors on the bench
