I worship at the altar of Clutch, so I'm pretty excited for this. Here's the track listing:

01. Motherless Child
02. Struck Down
03. Unstoppable Watts
04. Abraham Lincoln
05. Metroliner Special
06. Minotaur
07. The Amazing Kreskin
08. Witchdoctor
09. Let a Poor Man Be
10. Freakonomics
11. Algo Ha Cambiado
12. Sleestak Lightning

Loving this as well:

The remastered reissue of the band's "Slow Hole To China" album will arrive in stores on April 28.

Here's the whole article.

Cool, thanks for the heads-up. I got on board with From Beale St. to Oblivion, and I'm looking forward to hearing more from these guys.

Oh hells yeah. I've been waiting for something new from these guys. I've been a fan since their self-titled, and Blast Tyrant is still one of my favorite albums ever.

Yeah, very ready for this. Robot Hive Exodus hasn't stopped getting regular play on my IPod in two years.

I know it's lazy to say "these guys get better with each album", especially when they're your favorite band, but in Clutch's case I think that statement is warranted. While Robot Hive/Exodus is my personal favorite, I don't think there's any doubt that Beale St. is just about as tight and perfect a Clutch album as can be.

Jeez, how do these guys put out albums so damn fast!? Or else it just doesn't seem like so much time passes between them because i really don't get tired of hearing them. Thanks for the heads up though, i really don't pay enough attention to music as i should.

While the subject is up: Has anyone listened to any of the Bakerton Group stuff? Good? Bad? Indifferent?

New track, "50,000 Unstoppable Watts" here.

Sounds more Robot Hive/Exodus than ...Beale St.

I saw them live. Really bored me. Left before Clutch proper played (I was there for the opening acts and got in for free)

Kind of out of the loop on these guys, last saw them in '02, maybe it was '03, got an autograph, god damn Neil Fallon is a nice guy.

Been wanting to get back into them, but all I have is the old shit up to Elephant Riders, and Jam Room. Now's as good a time as any.

There can no be no bad time to get either into or back into Clutch. I"m really interested to see how this album sounds. Even though I'm not a huge fan ob Beale Street, every single album has been different so I'm hyped.

Pick up Blast Tyrant, immediately.

Got a ticket for this lot in Sheffield, England in June. How are they live? I've heard good things.

They're great live.

Thing about Clutch shows, people will come from surrounding states, from all over. It's fun, they attract a varied mix of types.

Fuck Blast Tyrant. Well not really, but man, Robot Hive: Exodus is wwwaayy better. The almost seamless melding of Small Upsetters/Circus Maximus/Tripping the alarm can not be toppped. All followed up by 10,000 Witnesses.

My work as a personal back road that leads through the woods. One morning there was a light mist and the sun was shining just right through the trees. Gravel Road was playing and it it hit that point where the guitar riff let loose and the song picked up. I actually got goosebumps

Indifferent, it's basically Clutch minus Neil Fallon.

The root of the problem has been isolated

Come on, motherfucker
Come on, motherfucker
Come on, motherfucker
Let's throw down

Just try me

What are you waiting for?

Ah, the 90's. Best fighting song ever.*

*Or, at least best song to day dream that you could actually fight while getting high on the couch with your friends.

Got to hear this in its entirety this week. I like it, but not nearly as much as Blast Tyrant, Robot Hive, and Beale St. Some of the songs here almost feel like they're still works in progress.

Tracks of choice right now are Motherless Child, Minotaur, and The Amazing Kreskin.

I'm still digesting it, but I think Motherless Child and Let a Poor Man Be rank up there with Clutch's best stuff.

I dig Let a Poor Man Be, but I think it would benefit from being a minute or so shorter.

Clutch & the Bakerton Group were, indeed, great at the Corporation.
