Anybody watching this one right now with the Scion? This is a good one.

The cop who laid on the roof of her car at the end was my favorite.

And the guy reporting it on CNNLive.com really sounded like he thought he was covering an event at the Olympic summer games.

These chases are like the one-night stands of news coverage. While they're happening it's the most important thing in the world. The second it's over it's like it never happened.

I still don't know if the driver was a dude or a lady.

It was a woman. They physically dragged her out of the vehicle. She looked fairly young, but haggard and Full of Crazy. If she ever gets out of prison, she may have a future in stunt driving.

Agreed. That one part where she turned around and weaved in between like 3 cop cars was pretty sweet. Gave me some new respect for the Scion.

I happen to be reading about this right now and it says that the Scion chase is topping 100 mph and circling patrol vehicles on the freeway. Man, I didn't know Scions can do 100.

Quote:
At one point, the driver wove circles around police, leaning out of her car, appearing to yell and gesticulate at officers. No other drivers were injured.
I knew F&F would motivate a chase.

Once I moved out of Los Angeles, I feared that I may not remain up-to-date with the monthly televised car chases. Luckily, CNN heeded my call.

Ah yes, these were a staple in the 90s. KCAL anyone?

The Scion is just the cutest thing on wheels. I thinking the girl is saying, "Come and get me pig. WESTSIDE!"

Yeah, I saw the highlights of this in the breakroom at work on Friday, and just started laughing-- it was the most Cannonball Run-esque thing I'd ever seen, and I loved it. Her totally getting out of the vehicle for a taunt seems like a trick out of GTA or something.

Also, HA, I just watched the whole thing for the first time. "Some kinda new-fangled VAN or something!"

Female broadcaster is so unintelligent and does not know her cars. You're suppose to be on-point and know your makes and models. Sheesh, you're on live TV for criss-sakes.

Maybe there was a bee in her car.
