This show has definitely improved for me. Funniest line from the first episode has to be "He said he wanted to climb mountains in Kansas". For some reason, that line killed me.
Yeah, I still really like this too. I missed Ron last night but Aziz was really great. And the winner is...the hot one!

Ron fucking Swanson

I just hope they don't overexpose the character. Like others said, he's best held in reserve.

Saw the adoption joke coming a mile off.

Thought Jones killed with the 'bad date therapy'.
Don't know if I'm the only one, but I really like the Leslie/Dave relationship.
I thought it was nice how he was calling the date their second date to get Leslie over the first date jitters.

Ron Fucking Swanson was in this episode so much that they could shelve him for a couple weeks and I'd be okay. I love that guy.

Ha! From his discography page:

Hi-Ho, Duke!(2007)
Duke really comes into his own on this release. It has everything you've come to expect from the music of Duke Silver: the frenetic energy, the sexual tension, the saxophone. Never before has such a vast array of emotion come from just two 30-minute tracks of pure jazz.

Enjoyable episode. Leslie's panicked trip to the whizz palace was probably the funniest part for me.

Pure, unadulterated awesome.

From the bio-

Inspired by the great musicians – Coltrane, Getz, Foreigner – Duke set out to establish a new standard of jazz
Excellent. I wish there were some audio samples on the site.

This show has really started to come into its own for me. Last weeks episode was really great.
Ugh! Way too much Fred Armesan. I left the show early in the season and came back to last week's great ep. This just makes me want to go away again.
Never watched a single ep but I get the impression if this were the 90's, this show would be on between Friends and Seinfeld.
Big Ron Swanson ep. I hope Mullally becomes a recurring character.
The pushpin in his head cracked me up. I'll echo what people are saying in Devin's Community thread, this show has greatly improved as of late.
I was laughing so hard for the first ten minutes of this last night that my sides hurt.
Yeah, you know these boards have an effect on me when I heard the Library jokes and thought of MissZooey.
Dave and I were howling. Howling. Facebook status updates for miles.
Best episode yet, I think.

I gave it another shot. But it still doesn't do it for me. Ron and Tammy at the dinner were great yes. But I can't stand Amy Poheler.
I just about died laughing last night. Satan's butthole. High road. Knows her way around a penis. I love that all the library people are evil.
Damn, damn fine episode, but the unjust hate for any and all library association was the sweet, sweet icing on the cake. Come on! How could anyone hate the library that much?

And I lost during the Deal or No Deal video performance.
It's like doing peyote and sneezing, slowly, for six hours.
Funny episode, indeed. I believe Tammy's bra was already on the ground OUTSIDE OF THE CAR before she and Ron get out at the hotel? Impressive.

Related note, Ron F'n' Swanson, minus the 'stache, can be seen in a small role in THE MEN WHO STARE AT GOATS. That was a nice surprise.
This show has been getting better and better.

This is the best Thursday night NBC has had in at least 15 years.
I almost coughed up a lung during the 3rd shoe shine. Jesus Christ, that was fantastic. This show has gotten so much better this season.

Agreed. The reactions to The Moan were hilarious. Andy was really killin' it in this episode. Donna had some great moments, too. Very funny episode.
I'm tired of always seeing the COMMUNITY thread on the front page. This is the best comedy on TV right now. Better than 30 ROCK. Better than CURB. Tonight's hunting outing was sublime.
If there's been a better 4-block of comedies running right in a row on one network than what NBC has on right now, I can't remember it.
This has gotten significantly funnier but I'd still rather watch Community. I wish NBC still had a 10PM slot because Chuck would be great after this.
Aubrey Plaza was totally cracking up during the Marco Polo scene. Looking cute doing it too.

Rashida Jones is the Pants King.
Oh God. That last shot. Grossed out and funny as shit.
For some reason, Andy trying to make April spit take with, "I've lived in Pawnee my entire life. That...is a fact...about me," was absolutely hysterical to me, coupled with her giggly reaction, but not giggly enough to spit take. I think they're really getting their stride, letting it be more about everyone then just Leslie.

Plus, you know, Ron Fucking Swanson.
I am terrified of Donna.
This show fucking rules.

"I'm shooting under his head."

Speaking of, I loved her exchange with Tom.

"You can't say your favorite kind of cake is birthday cake! That's like saying your favorite cereal is 'breakfast cereal.'"

"I love breakfast cereal."

It seemed to me that April (well, the actress) was trying to keep it together when Andy was trying to make her spit take. I thought tha was all kinds of adorable.

You say that as if it's a bad thing. And I'm sorry. While this show has gotten much better, it doesn't top either of the two you mentioned plus Community or "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia"

I couldn't stop laughing. I love Ron.

I also love that they've really made Leslie a real character this year rather than Michael Scott XX-chromosome edition.
Ok, this episode was all sorts of greatness.

"On a scale of 1 to Chris Brown how pissed is he?"

"Bitches be crazy. I'm bad at math and suck at driving."

Gave the show another shot, i really liked every actor except Poheler. I just can't stand Leslie. The rest of the show is gold.
I need a screencap of Ron Swanson beaming with a tongload of bacon. The show is definitely growing on me but he is easily the best thing about it.
Nice touch to show Swanson's bald patch growing out.

Andy won the episode. His facial expressions during the pool game were incredible.

Count me among those who were meh after the first season, and are now back in the fold. These last three episodes in particular have been just great. NBC really has a brand new Must See TV Thursday.

The foray up to the dreaded fourth floor was funny as hell.

Last night in particular was probably the best back to back to back to back sitcom run I've ever seen.

Thanks, Dr. Murder!

I didn't make this, but I'm sure you'll love it

Brilliant. Where are the comments?
Good episode, but what was with that teaser? Was the whole joke that we're not supposed to get any of the jokes? Really weird opening.
