The subtitles on that video are almost as amazing as his sword skills.

That is COOL!

Now how long do I have to practice before I can do that?

That is fucking awesome.
...I agree with that guy.

It's amazing, but the title is a little misleading. It's an airsoft gun.

I believe Mythbusters showed that it was impossible to do it with a real bullet.

"I want him to cut various things."

"A little failure isn't permitted."

Probably since birth, with a Hatori Hanzo sword. It wouldn't hurt if your family, friends, neighbors, and goldfish were killed by a one-eyed ronin, sending you on the path to vengeance/hell/Camden so you'd have the proper motivation (expect a torrid, but brief, love affair with someone who'd try to show you there's a better life out there, if only you'd give up your sword, but you would never do this. You'd leave your lover one night, with only a haiku about cherry blossoms by his pillow, as you continue down your lonely path of revenge). Knowing the riddle of steel wouldn't be a bad thing either.

I wonder if this guy would've committed seppuku if he'd failed? Still, his sword skills are nothing short of amazing.

My favourite translation - "It smoothly cuts it like cutting the thing that isn't iron".

But, provided that is all for real, it is truly astonishing. You could say, a miracle in miracle.

The iron pipe at the end is actually not the hardest part. I have been a kendo/kenjutsu nut for over 10 years now, and I think the precision of the lateral cuts, especially the second one with the bean, is far more admirable, if a little less flashy. Some people just flat-out rock.

Yeah, these should have been ordered differently. After the bean and bullet, I expected him to cut through a statue, not a thin little pipe. They totally should have opened with the pipe, and ended on the bullet.
