Not sure who owns them, but maybe start with the stock footage companies and see if any have anything similar or maybe they can help you find out who owns those clips. If you just google stock footage you will start to find a bunch of companies. Then it is just about calling them and seeing what they have. Often times they will send you screeners of what you are looking for or give you links to where you can view the footage online.

If you do come u p blank, start tailoring your google search to what you want. I did that on the last movie I was on and found a stock footage company right in the same city as the production company and they had exactly what we were looking for.

The best I ever had to find was porn. Literally hours of going through the major porn video companies websites looking for corporate info. I will say this, the people at Vivid were very nice and extremely helpful and got us just what we needed.

I think Tarantino owns all those.

Did you poke around archive.org?

No. I'll see what I can find.

I did find this: http://www.archive.org/details/Previews1940 and this: http://www.archive.org/details/patronsavoicnoise
But I'm looking for something more 70s drive-in.

EDIT: Like this: http://www.archive.org/details/Drive-inMovieAdsAGo-go
Does this mean it's public domain?

I did find some old safety vids and PSAs though. Tee hee.

Recently found this DVD compilation: http://www.whereyesterdayslive.com/d...ive_in_ads.htm

I'm guessing that these are probably public domain, considering what the site focuses on (OTR, serials, etc).
