Did he faint over Obama's economic policies or from hearing Beck talk non stop for over 10 minutes? You decide ...

Beck is a world class douche. I would choke myself out to escape his awful ranting.

There's a very funny clip from a British show looking at the the state of the media in the US and A, culminating, of course, in Glenn Beck, whom he describes as "like Peter Finch in Network except crazier and played by Paul Giamatti in a blond wig." link.

Update: Coming back at 5:30pmET, Beck said, "Everybody thought it was part of the show because this show, you never know what to expect," and, "he apologizes, and I'm like 'are you kidding me, the ratings will be through the roof!'"
Riiiiiiight.

Hadn't heard of Brooker before. Brilliant stuff. Thanks for the link and intro.

He calls out Olbermann's unique brand of Ted Baxterry and properly labels Couric's presence as MILF-appeal driven. But he's got FOX nailed square...

...and blowhard-on O'Reilly

When there's no tits to dribble over Bill kills time by boasting about his ratings, plugging his myriad books or simply sitting there pulling a face like a tortoise that's learned to enjoy the stink of it's own farts.

But his primary characteristic is anger. Bill gets wound up by virtually anything to the left of Mussolini...hectoring and yowling like a wolf that's got his nuts caught on a coat hanger.

That last O'Reilly quote had me pissing myself here at work. Utter brilliance.

Right? OMG so funny!

Glenn Beck is a fucking moron. He's still talking about Sarah Palin, about how "genuine" she is. LOL

I have to admit that I used to put Beck's show on as background noise when he was still with CNN. I had never heard of the guy and he was still fairly new so he hadn't started with all the hilarity that would follow once he jumped over to FOX. I hang my head in shame now.

He was pretty off a long time ago. Unfortunately, he started out in here in Tampa on the radio. He was already kind of annoying, then he went national got more annoying and has been getting more and more annoying as he moves from one media format and company to the next.

If he was already "off the reservation" by the time he hit CNN I didn't know of it. I just thought he was this shlubby guy who brought up his alcoholism every show. Then I saw a clip from his FOX show where half the screen was taken up by an extreme close-up of his eyes. How this guy survives on the air is beyond me.

The goal is global carbon tax.…You need to have fear. You needed to have the fear of starvation. You needed to have the fear of the whole place going to hell in a handbasket. Which--do we have that fear now with global warming?…Then you have to discredit the scientists that say 'That's not right.' And you must silence all dissenting voices. That's what Hitler did. That's what Al Gore, the U.N., and everybody on the global warming bandwagon [are doing]."[4]
