I think we got the central, again.

They have been monsters at home plate, and Alexi hasn't even gotten it going yet. I do worry a little about our pitching, especially middle relief after last year. Will just have to wait and see on that though.

I feel much better about the pitching than I do the hitting. They're going to have 3 starters with 15 wins. They're going to need Konerko to actually play a full year if they're going to do it, though.

I just don't see anyone else in the division owning it besides them... of course, they've a history of pulling defeat from the jaws of victory.

They're a flawed team, but it's hard to see anyone that's better in that division.

What's likely to separate them though is that Kenny Williams is likely to make a big move if necessary. I think he's likeliest to go and bring in another starter, which I think they'll need. And likely to go out and get another bat (Mike Cameron, perhaps?), as well as call up Gordon Beckham. The White Sox seem to have a good trainer/conditioning program which seems to have helped them beat the odds a bit with regards to their older players.

Well, now that Getz is hurt, I'd like them to see if Beckham is ready... though I think we'll be getting the debut of Jayson Nix.

You and your team better watch your back, Tigers are coming back this year. You and your thread have been warned.

Hey, I didn't realize the Brewers were FINALLY playing the hated ChiSox in interleague this year.

Barbecue is at my place if any of you FIBs want to make the jaunt up. Please, no "Comiskey North" signs.

Opinions on the potential Peavy deal? Sounds pretty exciting, although I guess he wants to stay in the NL.

I didn't realize that, either...

And I thought you guys were Wrigley North...?

If Peavy's looking at what's going on right now against the Twins I wouldn't blame him for exercising the no trade.

ETA: /sigh
