I've noticed most Salvation screenings are happening May 18th, so that's probably the best bet.

Yeah, most likely the 18th. LA critics have theirs Thursday I believe.

How early? I was planning to do some shopping beforehand and try to get to the theater around 5:15. Think there will be much of a line at that point?

Yikes. I'll stop by there before I go to the store, then. I've noticed that these earlier screenings don't tend to have quite the same sort of lines we're used to seeing, I guess because not everyone can get off work an hour early, but I certainly expect there'll be a bit of a crowd for this one.

I was surprised by how many open seats there were. My wife was late due to traffic and I was crapping myself. She showed up 10 minutes or so after they let everyone in and there was no problem getting a good seat.

Thanks to Nick and WB for the pass. It was the first move we've been able to get out to in a long time. We really need to find a good babysitter!
