I'll be at Green Brain comics in Dearborn volunteering. Guy Davis is going to be signing, should be fun.

ETA: I know I'll be picking up the Blackest Night prequel, other than that, I'm in the dark about whats going to be out.

At the Record Store, I picked up Blackest Night prequel, a Punisher collection, a couple of Planet of the Apes repro Mego figures, and Rush Retrospective Vol. 3.

Next week, I'm getting Eerie Archives #1 from Dark Horse as part of my birthday loot. God, I'm lovin' this week.

Picked up the Brian Azzarello Joker graphic novel, and a Ghostbusters t-shirt.

I also got the "After Watchmen...What's Next?" reprints of Preacher #1, and Saga Of Swamp Thing #21. My free comic book day comics were the Aliens comic, and William Shatner Presents.

Erik Larsen was at my buddy's store today, signing books. So I picked up his free Savage Dragon (by the time I got there, that was all that was left) and the Obama Special. Never was a huge fan of his from back in the day, I stopped reading comics right as he was coming up. But looking over his recent work, I dig it. Also, a nice guy.

But the big score today was Bone: One Volume Edition. Very psyched to read all 1300 pages of that.

Just read the Aliens/Predator freebie. There's really no hint of where the Aliens series is going, but it was an interesting intro. Predator-- well, it seems to involve a band of very aggressive Predators taking out other Predators? Or something?

Anyway, it's free. Pick it up and read it if interested. I'll keep an eye on the Aliens book when it starts.
