Earthworm Jim 4?

I just found out that this has been in development since last April, but after coming across that little bit of information, I can't seem to find anything else.

Does anyone have an updated information on the status of this one? I didn't even know there was an Earthworm Jim 3, so the fact that they announced 4 is a huge surprise altogether.

I've never played the 3rd one, but they went 3D with it in the the N64/PS1 era. Apparently it was awful. I just remember screenshots were shit, which was pretty sad due to how awesome Jim 1 and 2 were visually.

Sure, they can throw in 3D bits to spice things up, but this series should stay 2D, and pretty, and weird.
