Rare horror short films

Every now and then I read in a magazine that this and that director that I love has made a couple of short films prior to his first feature. Sometimes they screen at film-festivals but that is pretty much as good as it gets unless they end up as an extra on a DVD - which happens not nearly often enough. Short films like DIAS SIN LUZ or ALICIA from Jaume Balaguero, AFTERMATH (which will get a DVD release, thank god), the shorts from Darren Aronofsky, things like that. I think that short films, like short stories, are an severely underrated artform. More of that stuff should be made available to the general public ...

Add to that Nacho Cerda's follow up to Aftermath the very different but no less moving Genesis and Paco Plaza's very creepy Abuelitos.

And some picture called Dont Worry It's Only Your Imagination by some southern hack...

I kid because I love...

This balance is being redressed somewhat by the Corner and partners - I'm being lazy, what's the release date for that DVD ?

Your guess is as good as mine. I was going to do some box art for it, but had to drop it, due to an extreme scheduling conflict. I think that it will be out in fall.
