Jake and the Fatman will now be on dvd:

The people who would buy it are just now getting around to DVD, so this makes hella sense.

Shit, I didn't think of that.
But what about season 1? Or is it already out?
Apparently, it's already on DVD insofar as the picture you posted is for Season 2... unless they skipped right over the first season to get to the good stuff.

I have no idea, but every season of Cannon is available for you to get your William Conrad on.

I'll get my William Conrad 'on' when they release all of those Lone Ranger cartoons from the 80s.

Of course...William Conrad, Narrated the intro to...Buck Rogers In The 25th Century, as well, and that is on dvd.

I also heard Earth: Final Conflict will be out today. So you can have that going for you.
No discussion of William Conrad-related DVDs is complete without bringing up Rocky & Bullwinkle.
Rocky & Bullwinkle is out as well.

Jake and the Fatman has had two seasons hit in the past year. They're both ass. By that, I mean it's like Paramount borrowed someone's VHS tapes and DVD-R'd them.

They look like shit.

That happened to the last batch of Wiseguy, before Stepen J. Cannell threw in the towel and A: released the second half of the the third season on Amazon Unbox; and B: just didn't bother releasing the arc with Debbie Harry and Tim Curry (too many music clearance issues). He also took out "Nights In White Satin" from a climactic moment of the first arc and replaced it with the show's theme for the same reasons. You stay classy, Stephen J Cannell.
Bah, all that you REALLY need on 'Wiseguy' is the Mel Proffit arc anyways.
You shut your whore mouth, Judas! Ray Sharkey (aka The Johnny Appleseed of AIDS) was never better. But the music arc, with Tim Curry as the slimy record exec, and the Lynchboro/Twin Peaks parody arc (with David Straithairn) is something I'd like to revisit (and Roger Lococco came back in that one, so you should want to revisit it as well).

Sorry for the derail. I looked for a Wiseguy thread, but there's just a bunch of random posts by me in a bunch of different threads.

I love you too, Phil.

I know you run your own site. But there's no justification to be watching Jake and the Fatman episodes.

Next question: When in the hell is Gary Cole's tv series "Night Caller" going to show up?
The cover makes it look like the Chief Wiggum New Orleans cop show from the Simpsons Spin Off Showcase.

Probably around the time we get the Young Robin Hood cartoon series, what with the greatest opening credits sequence of all time with the drawbridge slamming down and all.

I was under the impression that Jake and the Fatman had been on DVD for a little while. I always see a copy on the shelf when I go up to my local used DVD store.
