A grand and epic look at few outsiders surviving the self-destruction of a corrupt and unstable culture. This film is worth studying.

This film boasts an incredible story and a very impressive soundtrack. Trainspotting includes graphic scenes of drug use, sex and death. One of the finest films to come from Scotland, this movie...

You use to work at Troma, Alex? Was it as crazy and drama filled as the documentary of Citizen Toxie suggested?

Yes. Yes it was. The old-timers there gripe and bitch nonstop about how much they hate Lloyd and don't want to work for him, but they keep doing it. It's pretty funny and insane. Although they've moved from the classic Troma building to Queens.
I was supposed to be in an easter egg on Citizen Toxie, actually, but I had a little bit of a falling out with all of those folks. There's also footage of me dressed as Toxie at a Fango convention somewhere out there.

There are old-timers at Troma? I assumed Troma pretty much had a revolving door of employees since they couldn't afford to keep people long term.

A couple. But yeah you're right, most people work there for a few months and then move on. But there were a few that seemed like they were going to stay forever. No idea if they're still there though, hell- this was 8 years ago. My claim to fame was helping shoot a nude scene with Debbie Rochon for Troma's Edge TV. I was in charge of the fog!

I've not seen the original, I'll have to get hold of this before the remake happens, but I'm pretty excited for this. I love Repo! The Genetic Opera, I know it was unpopular to say the least but it really worked for me, so much love for that film.
Bousman did a decent job with the Saw sequels in my opinion - don't get me wrong, they're pretty bad, but II and III are big improvements on the first film, which was pretty badly directed and, compared to the sequels, unimaginative. II and III are, although low quality stuff, fairly watchable trash with some good ideas and horrifying kills. IV was a misfire, but I'm inclined to blame that on things other than the direction. The franchise, by that point, was just getting too big and tied up in it's own ideas.
Repo was what we got when Bousman was given a project he was passionate about. If he puts as much into this film then I know I'll like it, even if no one else does.
