Demotion and pay cut effective next month for all supervisors, except two to be determined, "To better allow the company to come out of the recession having experienced growth and new, more effective ways of doing business." Severance offered to all those who feel like looking for a new place to work in the worst fucking job market in the last sixty years.

Fuck you, corporate America.

Anyone else, feel free to sound off.

Busted my ass off for about a year and a half to get full-time work in a production company. Did every job they asked regardless of how little they offered to reimburse me, all to butter them up better. Finally got hired on fulltime last January and within 6 months the frigging place went completely out of business just as I was starting to make more money and have better hours.

Ended up falling back on POS security guard work and hunting around town for any other semblance of film work around Halifax. Kinda managed to get some work in a commercial/ad company, shooting and cutting corporate videos and whatnot, so I'm grateful I landed on my feet even though it was a pretty dark 6 months in between.
