This woman is fucking amazing. This is less a strip tease dance and more of a Cirque du Soleil act. The stuff she does around the 2:13 mark is simply stupefying.

Yeah, but at that point, it kind of stops being sexy, which is - for better or worse - kind of the point.

Don't get me wrong; it IS amazing to watch from a sheer athleticism point of view, and until she goes overboard damned sexy, too. Before I met my wife, I used to hang around in a particular club a lot, and got really friendly with this one particular girl. She was a short but muscular Aussie lady, and she could really tear it up on the pole (although the lady in the video blows her away). I recall going in once, and she did a particularly complicated routine, and astonished her fellow dancers as much as the audience; I saw her later giving a clinic to several of her younger counterparts on the closed off side stage.

That lady is the reason my GPS is programmed to speak in the voice of Karen, the Australian Female, rather than Jill, the American female. Don't tell my wife.

That was the most amazing thing i have ever seen.....

Im sure if all strippers did stuff like that maybe clubs wouldn't get such a bad rep.

Husbands could use the excuse of "I was just there to see the routine, i wasn't even checking out the naked girl!"

Is it wrong that, as amazing as that performance was, it just makes me want for Pole Dance Bloopers?

I mean, surely when learning to spin yourself around a metal bar for 40 seconds, spread eagle and using only your ankles, there is a little trial and error..

This is too impressive to be hot. But then again she didn't choreograph this just to be hot. It didn't stop be from holding my breath in a couple of spots though.

Isn't the human body operating at such high levels a fucking marvel to behold?

Here's an an odd question: when and why did strippers start wearing platform high heels? It's weird, but I fucking hate those shoes.

Same here. Lord, how I miss the days of women wearing classic high heels or pumps. They gave a lady's calves this very nice and seductive curve, which carried over to the shoe. Now the legs end with these, for want of a better term, blocks, and women tend to stomp more than walk on them. Just ugly, ugly shoes - almost as bad as dancers with really bad tattoos that cover all the areas one would want to see on a dancer.

Oh, and this pole dancer? Phenomenal. Don't see girls with moves like that in my neck of the woods. More's the pity.

A friend of mine is obsessed with pole dancing. She's better than the average girl, I guess, but all she can do is spin around in circles. In any case, she had her birthday at R Bar, which has a room in the back with four stripper poles that drunken idiots are free to climb. My friend got a pretty good reception from the crowd, so I guess some other chick got jealous. Her friend's start cheering her on, she feigns humility, then reaches into her purse and grabs a towel to wipe down the pole. She brought her own stripper pole towel! She proceeded to put on trampy lucite heels and admittedly did some pretty cool tricks. Climbing up, hanging upside down by her thighs, and sliding down. That said, I couldn't tell if she was just a regular at the bar or worked the pole for a living. It could have gone either way really.

I've seen this girl perform live. You cant actually stand up to applaud when she is done, much as you would like to, for fear of embarrassing yourself.

Not at all. But yeah, I felt more impressed than titillated which I don't think is a bad thing, considering the performance. Also take in mind that the video I can watch seems to be a little degraded in quality which gives it a more abstract feel. I assure you that were I present in this, there would be no small amount of hyperventilation and cold sweat from me.

Miss Felix is Hot Slut of the Week on my favorite gossip site. And the reason it looks like she is performing a Cirque du Soleil act is because she is! Felix's pole skills can be seen nightly at Cirque de Soleil's Zumanity show in Las Vegas.

Also, here's another video of her act. There's a pretty sweet move where she climbs to the top of the pole, does a split and slides down to the ground still in the split!I hadn't finished the video yet. The money shot is at 5:30. This woman is unbelievable talented.
