Furries - Page 3

Now I really want to see Nooj draw this guy in a furry costume. Smoking a cigarette.
We are actually working on something like that. Stay tuned.

This would be pretty fucking hilarious; I say bring it on guys.

I'm a pet owner, but I'm under no illusions about what they are. They are animals with animal instincts, not living toys. I have goats and degus, and my parents keep dogs and chickens.

The dogs have killed rabbits when they got loose and one of them fetched down a bird's nest and killed all the chicks when she was a puppy. We lost most of our chickens to a fox this summer and a few years back all the chickens ganged up and killed another one because it was sick. One of my goats knocked an old lady down and jumped on her when she came into the paddock, because he didn't recognise her and thought she was a threat. He has also now decided that he hates women and children except for me (I hand fed him from birth so he treats me with some respect) and will beat them down hard if they bother him. My degus are lovely - but they live in a cage and they're about 20cms long so they're not exactly a threat, and if I was dumb enough to introduce them to another rodent they would tear it to pieces.

So yeah, I love animals but if I met a person who behaved like ANY of my pets, I'd be concerned. And possibly dead. Anyone who claims to have the personality of an animal needs to have a look at what they're actually saying and make sure it's a statement they really want to make about themselves.

So nobody else finds it disturbing that people are including there children in there sexual lifestyle?

Oh no, I think that's messed up too. I'm just trying to not be an asshole and attack everything at once.

When I was a kid I thought I was a dinosaur, and then a vampire. Furry children are the same thing - children having fun pretending. They are likely to grow out of it, and they will be freaked out when they realise their parents weren't just playing along. If I found out something I played at as a kid was something my parents were into as a fetish, I would be really freaked out. Eww.

Hmm. You may be onto something. I wonder if this certain fetish has been studied in detail and if any scientific books have been published on the subject.
So you're saying when my accountant father came home dressed as a fireman and asked me to help him unpack his hose, while my mother blathered in the background about her "raging fire" I was a part of some fucked up fetish?

At least I wasn't a Furry.

Double post
Alright, I'm getting pretty tired of "defending" the community, since I'm on the periphery of it at best and it generally irritates the shit out of me, nor do I really care if any of you like it or not (see first post), so this is the last thing I'll say on the subject (again) - it isn't simply a sexual fetish.

Perhaps you're all right in that it's off base to call your kids furries as well; they are just playing along and aren't necessarily into it, but that doesn't mean they're being included in something that's purely sexual in nature - furries are simply ppl who like to imagine themselves as animal ppl, that's it. Sure, there's some fucking going on, but saying that it's horribly wrong to let your kids play along with it is like saying it's horribly wrong to ever fuck as a parent while raising your kid(s). It's waaaaay off the mark.

I guess Kubrick was a prophet.

I want's nooj's drawing!
So when you say you like to imagine yourself as your animal "fursona" does that extend to all activities in your life? You claim it extends beyond sexual nature, so do you imagine yourself squatting in a pile of sand when you're on the toilet? Possibly kick your legs behind you like you are covering up your pile? Or do you not actually imagine yourself behaving LIKE a cat but rather just doing your normal routine but having fur on your skin?

God damn it.
Hoping it was yours? I still need to figure out what to do with that one...
No, I just didn't think you'd go through with it. It was a "god damn it" of disbelief.

Why is there a still from The Shining on the back of Cat Fancy?
Because I couldn't find a good image of the furries in The Shining right away. I'm a lazy guy.
When I said I wanted a picture of the guy dressed up as a furry, that's not what I had in mind.

Your picture could well be Thundercats: The later years of Lion-O.
Thunder.

Thunder!

THUNDER!

THUNERCA---

Sigh...
I hope Jesse didn't find that offensive, 'cuz that was all kinds of funny. Good work, 'Nooj.

Matt Turner might be psychic. Don't play cards with him.

Jesse seemed to have a good natured sense of humor about the whole thing, so it seemed like a good idea. But Joon is the genius. A cat-themed toilet paper holder?? Thass CRAZY!
The holder is best bit. Although I can't believe he bypassed the softball "Furrbreze" joke.

Typical Asian animator. I bet you're indolent ass doesn't work a minute over 17 hours a day.

My favorite part is that picture of the cat on the wall behind the commode. The look on its face is hysterical.

So says "WEREWOLF Girl".

I read a lot of TMNT and Uncle Scrooge as a kid. Does that count?
Oh, I was wondering before... but why the kilt? I just kinda followed orders. But why!?
Was that supposed to be my kilt? I thought those were typical sad-sack pajama pants.

Blame my pride in my scotch/irish ancestry; I couldn't resist dragging it through the furry mud.

Nooj, you got the fucking TARTAN WRONG!!!

Though I do admit that there are far too many folds of cloth around his feet to be a kilt.

Forget it! They're plaid sweatpants!
*Hugs and rocks back and forth* Relax, nooj, it's fine... in fact, I'd easily consider that my new favorite art piece. Does that do anything for ya?
There it goes. When anyone asks when it went, now you know.

One of those people is way less into taking that picture than the other two. And one of the other two doesn't know any better.
