Just an FYI to LA Chewers,

The Landmark has two screenings (4:50pm & 7:30pm) of The Brothers Bloom this Sunday (5/17) with a special appearance by writer/director Rian Johnson.

Huzzah!

(Less important: I'm going to the 4:50pm show)

He's also doing Q&As at the Arclight on Saturday, hosted by none other than me.

Please for the love of sweet christ people, see this movie. THe screening a couple months back was fantastic. This really needs to get out there.

Parking at the Arclight yesterday was an utter, utter clusterfuck. The lot was full, and rather than closing it, the attendants just kept waving people up to the next floor, parking people on the shoulders of the ramps and wherever the fuck they could find space.

I got to the Cahuenga Sunset intersection (which was a whole other monumental fuck-up) at 7:30, and I didn't get into the movie until 7:55. If I hadn't seen the film at the New Beverly already I would've been extremely pissed off.
