Okay, this could NEVER happen, but reading some old stuff about "wouldn't be cool if Bruce Campbell showed up in the next Phantasm movie" got me thinking about the ultimate horror hero smartass/badass showdown, and this seemed like the place to air it out.
It would start like this: a Secret Wars type scenario where a group of heroes get transported by some interdimensional warlord to a barren wasteland to do battle with their arch-nemeses.
On the heroes side:
Ash (naturally)
Reggie Bannister
Jack Deth
Herbert West (a borderline, but while we're dreaming, why not throw the esteemed Mr. Combs in?)
On the villains side:
The Tall Man
Evil Ash and the Deadites
The Trancers
Dr. Hill
So where would we go from there? Surely I'm not the only geekboy whose heart would be aflutter at the prospect...
Or maybe I am...
