I see people bashing this series in every forum i go to. But i've yet to meet any annoying fan of this. I've met one person that liked this series to date, and she was quite normal.

Like with Harry Potter, LOTR, Matrix, Star Trek, Wolverine and every other comic book property, i find the "LOL this sucks, let me act superior" crowd here and in other forums far more annoying than the actual (few) fans.

I always read things like "the fans of ____ are quite vocal". Never got that. Are we talking real life, or in specific conventions and forums?

Anyway, i've seen the DVD of Twilight two weeks ago. It was a very average movie. A little better than Wolverine or Matrix Reloaded, a little worse than the Harry Potter movies i've seen. Don't see what's the fuss.

I have a few friends who liked the movie. One who is reading the book because she says, "I'm bored." I don't believe her...

Anyway, those friends happen to be very girly girls. I'm disappointed, but not surprised that they make some kind of connection to it. I poke and tease them about it a little, but whatever. They're normal.
