Dont lie to us, Japan...the second a giant lizard stomps into Tokyo, that thing is coming alive to kick ass.

A few weeks ago the wife and I went out to Odaiba to see the life-size Gundam for ourselves.

That's awesome.

So what's the extent of its movement? I see he can move his head, blow out a bit of smoke and light up its eyes. Is that it?

Also, if only they've made the robots in the transformer movies look like this one :-(

From what I've read about it, that's pretty much it.

Other than that it's got a pretty laser light show when it gets dark.

It's just a temporary build and will be coming down at the end of this month I believe so they can't really afford to have it do anything else. The approaching typhoon season probably has something to do with that as well.

Btw, Wee-Bey. You and your wife didn't go the Gundam to re-new your wedding vows did you?

Damn that thing looks as good in the daytime as it does at night.

No that's a bit too geeky, even for me.

Yeah, all it does is light up, move it's head and shoot out smoke. Still it was a cool thing to see.
