I'm posting this because of the Wii version, but 360/PS3 impressions are welcome too. I guess.
Anyway, I've played maybe three rounds of golf in my life, so I'm hardly any kind of expert opinion, but Tiger Woods with the Motion+ attachment really finally feels like The Golf Game From The Future. The game measures the height of your backswing, the speed and rhythm of your downswing and the angle at which your club head hits the ball. Basically the only thing it's automating for you is striking the ball, you can't swing over or under it (mercifully).
Same goes for putting, if you want--the distance is determined by how far you pull back and how hard you follow through.
It's all 1:1. I think there's a slight delay of a few milliseconds in the swing, probably for animation purposes. I'm not sure, really, because looking at the screen while you swing just about guarantees that you're going to shank it. But adjusting the club face beforehand and moving your hand around during Disc Golf is very clearly perfect 1:1 motion.
Of course the graphics could use some tightening up, especially the created player models. And not that it matters much in a golf game, but the framerates aren't terribly smooth, either.
But it's also got a shit-ton of courses and modes, and online seems to work like a champ (no friend codes). I only got it last night but I played until my arm was sore. If you have a Wii you definitely have to try this out, at least.
