I know fashion is cyclical and all. But really? This crap is making a come back? Come on, people.
You should express your displeasure by throwing acid at them.

Hmm, I like the cut of your gib there.

I just wanted to thank you that you haven“t posted a picture of that Acid-Stuff since I have no clue what you are referring to. But given the recent trends in the fashion world this is definitely for the better so I can stay ignorant and save my faux anger for other shit.

I draw the line at parachute pants.

Oh man, there's going to be a large number of people in Indiana that will think they never went out of fashion.

Can't decide if this is worse than fluorescent fashion. But Acid-wash well-suited to mullets, so there's that.

I can think of at least one guy from Ohio who thinks that.

It's me.

I'm sure glad that I held on to those Hypercolor t-shirts. They're poised for a comeback...oh yes.

If you're talking about the t-shirts that change color in response to body heat. They already exist. Thanks American Apparel.

And Jan:

The ones from the 80s looked more like these:
I got one of those for my dad back in the 80s. He looked like a Predator was looking at him.

Looks like the all-jeans fashion is also due for a comeback. That's great. Jean coat, over a jean shirt, with trusted acid-washed jeans.

Bryan Adams will be "in" again. The Summer of 69 all over again.*

There are plenty of more worthy fashion cycles to get up in arms over. Acid-washed jeans? More or less harmless. *goes into closet, looking for acid-washed jeans*

As already mentioned by Judas, parachute pants are a much worse offender.

Yeah I know. But it's the principal of thing. Not to mention that sort of thing looks ugly as shit, anyway.

I believe you are referring to the Canadian Tuxedo. Isn't that required dress up there?

Finally, Marty McFly's time has come 'round at last.

Wearing layers should never go out of style. Just sayin'.

It's good to know that the 'pushed up sleeves on a sportcoat' look from the 1980s is coming back:

Admit it Judas. That's a picture of you, isn't? Great smile, btw.

I could only be so lucky, HBarr.

Dude, your location is Florida. You would think your goal would be to reduce the number of layers that is fashionable.

For 10 1/2 months of the year, yes.

Side note to Judas. I wish I still had some of my sportscoats from the 80s (rainbow of pastels and all).

That look was pretty much the stand up comedian uniform of the 1980s.

That's a perfectly acceptable ensemble to wear to a wedding. I've actually gone to weddings where that would be considered the posh outfit. One I went to had the best man in jeans and a wife beater and the groom came down to "I'm Too Sexy". The best part about all of this was that at the reception it was announced that the groom bought the bride implants for a wedding gift. We were then charged for our drinks at the bar. Plus they passed the boot.

I should also add that everyone is 100% sure the groom is gayer then Nathan Lane.

Though I have to say, Martin, I've been to a wedding in Hull. What's with the Celine Dion wannabes and the huge shoulder pads? It was 2005!

I don't know about that...
I refuse to believe acid-wash is making a comeback. I haven't seen it yet, I will blindly go on thinking it has died an eternal death.

That said, I totally had a closet full of those jeans in high school. Sigh. WTF were we thinking?
