Sadly, Tom Fontana and Michael K. Williams are going to get me to watch at least the pilot of this.

Funny seeing Rome's ultimate selfish asshole playing the Philanthropist.

Neve Campbell, Lindy Booth and a jar of lube are going to get me to watch this.

They should do a crossover with that new Thomas Jane show on HBO just to confuse viewers, like in an identical twin based prank. Then people will think the show is about a philanthropist who also has a really large penis.

They really do just take general terms and turn them into TV shows now huh?

Kinda meh. I'll stick around for the second episode at least.

Michael K Williams had almost nothing to do in this. I guess he had a couple of lines, got out of a car, and pushed a guy.

I guess it's Asia's turn next to be the impoverished foreign part of the world that needs the white man to save it.

If there was new Bond casting coming I would say this was Purefoy's audition tape. Still seems a lot like how he would play Bond.

Purefoy's work as Marc Antony earns him my attention for the first few episodes. Pilots are rarely smooth enough on which to judge entire series potential. So here's hoping he doesn't have to star in stuff like this anymore.

Better than last week. Although the board of directors subplot was shit. And you know it's gonna be a recurring thing all through the run.

If he had Rambo and his squad of mercs, Teddy wouldn't have had to make a deal with the Burmese.

The thing is, how exactly is Teddy supposed to spin it in the media that they're investing more in that Chinese company after he found out that the company was involved with Burma?
