Judas and I thought maybe some MN Chewers might want to get together to see the new cut of Watchmen anytime between July 17-23 showing at (ugh) Block E.

Any interest?

The larger the group, the safer the experience.

So I heard a rumor I can edit thread titles. Truth?
Truth. Click on your title from the forum root and you'd be able to change it.

Get up here to MN for this, Tati. I'll take you out on Lake Minnetonka afterwards.

I found your attachment to Diva, and I've been clicking like a madman in that spot, and nothing's coming up. Not that I don't trust you, just that I'm a dunce.

The problem is time.
You have a minute or two to do it. After that you are done.
I did it several times while creating threads.

Ah. Makes sense. And now my misspelling will live on forever.

Bring money for parking, as you'll likely have to use the ramp.

As far as directions go, you can't beat Google Maps.

Where are you coming from?

Apparent new location: the Carmike 15 in Apple Valley.

Movietickets.com is blocked for me at work, so can somebody confirm this?

It's what? A six hour drive from Green Bay to Minneapolis? Plus, I have relatives and/or friends I could stay with...hmmmm...so very tempting.

What are your thoughts, bendrix? Friday night and Saturday are out for me.

eta: 6 hours from Green Bay sounds about right, depending upon the road construction that you encounter along the way.

Fri & Sat out for me too. Sunday, only the evening show would work.

This would be a great time to meet up, what, with all the amazing drama going down on the boards these days. We'd have something to talk about, if nothing else.

And I'm organizing a group of RL friends to go see Drag Me to Hell at the Riverview soon. I'll keep you posted.

ETA: Chris: DO IT.

bendrix, any chance that you could do the 4:10 show? An 8:30pm start time means that we'd be getting out of the movie at around 11:30, which is a little bit late for me on a work night.

eta: I've yet to see 'Drag me to Hell'. If we can make this 'Watchmen' thing pan out and we hit it off, maybe I'll join you to see it.

At risk of being kicked off the boards, I haven't seen it yet either. I'm not the Evil Dead/horror fan everyone else is, but at Riverview prices, I can't resist.

4:10 could work. I'm going into the office on Sunday, and I'll see how much work I'll have to do.
OK, we'll plan on the Sunday, 4:10pm showing as Plan A, 8:30pm showing as Plan B. Who else can make those engagements?

Hopefully, the 4:10 show will work for everyone. We'd be able to talk about the film over drinks and munchies afterwards.

Thread bump. Any other MN Cherwers interested in going to this?
I just got back from Minnesota. I spent last thursday and Friday night at the downtown Marriott (the one at the old station). Very cool town and got to see the Twins win Friday night.

Shame I missed this by a week.

Glad that you had a good time. What brought you out here, work?
nope. Family Vacation. My wife's family lives in Pelican Rapids and they had a family reunion in Detroit Lakes.

Fun trip. Got to fish out on a private lake too.

Final thread bump. So far, it's just myself and bendrix. This will probably get called off if more of you Twin Citians don't express an interest.

Hey, I'm there, even if I'm the only. I'm going to watch the fuck out of this movie.
