Lindsay turned down role in The Hangover; movie fans rejoice

Was also offered the lead in "Knocked up".

This can't be true. Judd Apatow and Todd Phillips have better taste than this.

Smacks of gossip column schadenfreude. It's probably not true. Why would she pass on those roles to do Georgia Rule?

Heather Graham's role in Hangover is essentially "cute smiling prostitute who takes her boob out." I don't think it's incomprehensible that Phillips offered that role to Lohan. I also don't think it's incomprehensible that a mediocre actress with higher aspirations (aka Lohan) would turn that role down.

The Knocked Up rumor seems like bullshit, though.

I can't imagine Lindsay pulling off the role ... unless they re-wrote the role as a really world-weary, beaten down stripper. Heather Graham pulled it off great. Especially with her sad and glassy eyes at the end.

I don't quite believe it either, but I think we're all underestimating Lindsay's stupidity.

I wouldn't think these smaller films could afford the insurance needed that would have allowed her to "accept" these roles.

Indeed, Ms Lohan is likely to have died during a month long shoot in Vegas.

Knocked Up I believe would have been done before her drug and alcohol induced benders, or at least would have been casted before then.
