I'm getting addicted to this game. At first I had no idea what I was doing thanks to the minimal instructions that the manual and the actual game provide. Eventually I found this video and learned a lot from watching awkward pause guy: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j0fuPzbBpNQ
The most important thing to know about the game is that the left and right sides of the wii controller are the racket face. For some reason, this is nowhere to be found in the instructions. You get occasional motion plus glitches (sometimes the player will just lunge for the ball for no reason), but most of the time I have decent control over my player. I always hold the controller face up and flat, and after every point I try to hold the controller in a neutral position. You don't get 100% true 1:1 movement, but the amount of control you have over your swing is unmatched.
The graphics are simple, but I like the cartoony look of the players. It's a welcome change from the creepy, high res wax sculpture player models that you usually get in these games.
