Another season of Vinnie Chase and the boys starts tonight. I read Herc's blurb about it over at AICN and I have to say I'm not that stoked about a retread of the first season. Watching the season five reruns on HBO 2 these last couple of nights, I realized that the stuff I really like about the show involved people other than Vince. In my mind, Vince is a boring character without any kind of depth. The closest they came to giving him depth happened in season five when he finally encountered true adversity, and it sounds like in season six that's all a memory.
Frankly, I'm much more excited to see what happens with Ari's agency and E's management company than anything Vince related. Hopefully, we'll get some good stuff on those fronts this season.
