Anyone remember these from grade school? Can any Chewer teachers out there tell me how I can find some (short of making them myself... can't find the antennas anyway)? I've scoured the internet and can only find the story...

I'm checking with the Mrs. for you. I looked through the metric ton of teaching supply catalogs she had and didn't see them which pretty well shocked me.

Thanks! Seriously, I remember a time when these things were unavoidable. Greeting card stores, craft stores, etc. Now I can't find squat. Not even on ebay... unless I need to widen my search phrases.

According to the Mrs. (who seemed genuinely amused that I was asking about them), you rarely see them any more. She said that on occasion she has seen them listed in her Oriental Trading catalog, but I checked their website and was unable to find them available for order right now. Then again, navigating that website is a chore and it's possible they have them and I couldn't find them. Their search function is useless.

You're a genius.

Found em on there! Took some sleuthing. "Pom pom critters". Thanks for the idea to search there. Should have thought it myself.

$7 standard shipping? Jeez.

Used that phrase to also find a variation here: http://onesuperbargain.com/product_i...c5aa76163a861d

EDIT: Weepuls? Holy shit, google. I struck the mother load!

Bought some supplies and made some with my daughter last night. It was fun. She had a blast.

EDIT: Saw a variation called "Yarn Bugs" as well.
