Looks like the reality is that I'll be in your next of the woods beginning first week of August.

I spent a month in Melbourne back in '99 to help a friend plan a wedding. Its a beautiful city and people are quite friendly. I do recall a lot of pokies (or slot machines) all over the place. You Aussie's sure do love your gambling. Have fun, Nick. Wish I could join you.

Count me in! My castle is open for all to exploit and I'm pretty sure between me and Rain Dog at least we won't have to difficult time finding watering holes that will resist kicking us out longer than most. I've essentially got the first two weeks of August off so I'm game!

Also: My house is awesome. Chewer Ianthe can confirm this. I throw it open to all and sundry for dinner and winter mulled wine if Nick and folks feel up for a drink/eat off.
Myself and my housemate are also former chefs so we cook real up shit real good.
