"From the creator of The Bachelor, comes a show with real women..."

Why does "Real Women" = "Fat women"? Aren't the women on The Bachelor real? Or all they all actresses? My wife even said, "Ugh. Those are all fat women. I'm overweight, but I'm not fat. Those women are all fat and unhealthy."

I also stumbled upon this recently. It's like a mash-up of Dancing with the Stars and The Biggest Loser - just replace "stars" with "real" men and women.

"Real" = "Fat" because most people in the USA are. An accurate portrayal of the "average" woman by definition is not a woman who is exceptional.

Also the skinny/fit/famous models and actors, etc, don't even look like the pictures of them that you see because they're airbrushed (the people and the pictures) - thus no "real" people look that way. See, for example, France's Elle magazines "Sans Fards" edition.
