Do they just go over the tape right after service and then they comment, or do they pull them to the side minute-by-minute as the events are happening?
I've wondered this also. It appears they're being interviewed in a side room of the kitchen, so I wouldn't be surprised if they corralled the cast when they wanted to ask them something. The way Van seemed to be having a mental break during his last few interview segments, I didn't think he was re-creating them for the camera later.

I caught one hilarious editing mistake a week or two ago when you could clearly see Tek cooking something in the background 2 weeks after she was kicked off.

Bit surprised Van got the boot after Suzzannes " I won't put my name on this" fiasco. All of a sudden I could see Tennille making the final.

RAW!

Nice to see Suzanne go. This show is easily my guiltiest pleasure.

Tennille speaks as if she's being interviewed in a Maury backstage segment.

But she'll leave next week, unless Dave, who still picks stuff up with his broken wrist, succumbs to injury. Ramsey and the producers have the good sense not to drag someone, who has no business winning, to the finale.

I actually ate at Araxi a few weekends ago... cost me and the wife $300 cdn. - but the food was amazing.

Our loud, braying national nightmare is over.

I have to admit, the fake-out at the end fooled me. I was convinced that Dave was a goner.

Kevin's Bah-ston accent slipping in here and there always makes me laugh. If he would only slip full-on into a Stern-esque Ted Kennedy "Er-Ah" accent, that would make the show for me.

Watching all of them try to emulate Ramsey next week always makes me laugh. My wife is pulling for Dave, but I think Kevin will win. Ariel is just kind of...there. Nothing really stands out about her to me.

Kinda happy to see Dave pull out the win. Although compared to previous seasons this finale seemed rushed.

it did seem rushed... I was disappointed to see Ramsey didn't offer a job to Kevin afterwards or pick him to begin with but both guys at the end deserved the job, I just had a favorite.

I want to see the uncut footage based on the closing credits. Ramsey arm wrestling Van... tossing JP around like a wetnap... just cool stuff man.

This finale seemed much more low-budget compared to finales in the past. Where was the final "create your own restaurant" challenge? I guess they didn't have an interior design budget this time.

Still, I liked Dave, so glad he won, although Kevin was more than qualified as well.

I noticed the "create your own restaurant" thing was missing , but I guess if you think about it, it's not a design show, and the Araxi isn't going to change for the TV show. I like Dave, but I think Kevin was more suited. Though, how Dave got through with the broken wrist probably got him extra points.

True, but was the grand prize any different from prizes in the past? All of the winners have ended up working on a staff as opposed to overseeing a restaurant, I thought.

With the last two seasons filming back-to-back, I wonder if their budget got stretched thin by the end.
