Film-making Competitions

Anyone recommend any bonafide and fair short film competitions worth entering? I'm just going by google at this point.

indieshortfilms.net ?
actioncut.com ?
bigstar.tv/film-contests ?

Looked into filmaka.com and their most recent contest (due Sunday), but this clause scared me: "Please note that upon payment of any prize money your content becomes the exclusive perpetual property of Filmaka, LLC."

I don't like the sounds of that. Is that common?

Just hit withoutabox.com, it's literally the perfect site to find any film/script competitions, plus it gives great info on each competition. But yeah, don't enter competitions that take the film away from you.

My friends and I competed in the 48 Hr. Film Project earlier this year, but in NO WAY would I recommend it unless you really want to go for it. The stress just isn't worth it, unless you're really up to the challenge.
