In a fit of naive stupidity, I went to check the Warner Archive site to see if any of the WB-owned Golden Harvest films had been found to be worthy of being released, even in this half-assed direct-to-DVD+R manner. (Answer - their Golden Harvest films remain WB's generous gift to professional bootleggers who are struggling to stay afloat in these trying economic times.)
What did catch my eye, though, was the long-sought-after concert film URGH! A MUSIC WAR. Not sure how it ended up in the low-rent Warner Archive - I'd have thought a concert film with the lineup this one has would have gotten a real DVD release, particularly if WB went to the effort to get the (presumably nightmarish) music rights untangled.
