What? I have to do this every day now?

Well, if I can do it for free Marlboro stuff, I guess I can do this too...

I was looking at the rules, and they take IP addresses into account, it seems. So you can vote for someone every day, but the system will take note of that.

Is he holding a sword or a saw? I can't tell

Third pic: Works if Sterling Cooper brings in a rocket scientist.

It's like he just stepped outta the 1960s...

Wow, I didn't know someone invented a time machine!

Missed it by about ten years.

If it was the Life On Mars contest, then he'd be set.
That he would be.

I can only wonder how will things look as Mad Men gets into the hippy era.

We already got a small taste of it in Season 1 with Don's mistress and her friends.

Voted!
Maybe she'll be Joan's little sis.

If anything, I bet we see something resembling a Beatles influence near the tail end of last season. But the show is about the people who would tell John Lennon to get a haircut.

This guy's trying out for Desperate Housewives:

Also, voted for Carpet's friend.

To get them to watch I'd let them know it's frankly the only show on tv that shows people enjoying a cigarette, without the creepy hitlarian overtones and overbearing finger wagging about all the supposed health risks of mankinds oldest vice. It's really refreshing and it's cool to Kick back and watch cool people acting cool in the 6ixties

A friend of mine gets points for strong location work and props.

Apart from the constant jokes about people coughing up lungs.

Also, people acting cool in the 6ixties? Not only is that a FATAL misreading of the goddamn text of the show, it's a hate crime against the English language.

Is the site down? I haven't been able to vote all day.

Shit, feel free to vote but I wasn't trying to take away from Carpet's gal. That lady got in the paper, she's a juggernaut.

It's too late, Phil. Your girl is IT. She's going to get picked. She's going to go on Mad Men. She's going to get noticed. She's going to get cast by some aspiring director. And then she's going to get throne away like so much Vine Street trash, drowning her depression in alcohol, choking to death on her own vomit, feasted on by her pet dog, Provost style.

And you're to blame!

How does that make you feel?

She already does all that. No dog yet, though.

Hey, where's your picture?

Also, I mean, not to be a bitch but.....besides the newspaper, what is particularly vintage-y and Mad Men-y about hers? All of my friends clothes are like older than that girl..just sayin'.

Best of luck to her though, in all sincere honesty.

They didn't say she was more vintagey; they said >. Read that how you will.

The newspaper is a great touch, and the art deco storefront is pretty good too. Your girl is just pulling your basic Audrey Hepburn (not to be a bitch). I'm kidding, I'm sorry!

Link not working!

I know, the site's been fucked all day.

I was going to take my picture in the city this weekend but didn't have time. I now need to figure out how to make the Catskills look 60s. Not hard, but still, you know.

I'll throw a friend of mine's hat into the ring...

Since the site is STILL down, here's an outtake of my pal's shoot which includes a deleted baby. When she read that the rules said "no one else in the photo", she returned the child to its owner and went with a solo shot. (I told her she should have had a lit cig in her mouth to maximize the effect of the baby, but no one listens.) Faded Kodachrome look courtesy of my lazy photoshopping.
So sad to hear about the deleted baby. If only more fathers would wear Caps Lock on Insert.

I wasn't quoting Rath's statement to reply to exactly what was said. No, they didn't say she was more vintagey, my comments are separate from what they said.

I guess I'm just more impressed with an old garment rather than an old newspaper. Figures.

( I didn't see what you had in black until I went to reply. Nice touch.)
