I'm laying in the woods, baby! My win is pretty well in the bag, but it's crazy have 4 still to play (2 tonight, 2 tomorrow). Starving could still get a win if MN settles for field goals (probably will in fact) so I'm gonna need to start getting some points quickly.

ETA: Brandon Jacobs, go fuck a sarlacc. I finally bench your worthless ass, and now you fucking get 2 touchdowns in a game? Piece of shit.

Sorry about killing your playoff chances in our other league...
Any chance of Aaron Rodgers getting 100 FP tonight?

Well, it's been fun. Leading the league in FP and missing the playoffs is...well, strange. Much like the actual Steelers' season, it started off slow, built momentum, and has turned to shit the past 3 weeks.

And SD, it's been the story of all my FFL seasons. I'm probably going to lose to you by less than 20 FP, and in the other IM league, I lost by 15 FP. Last week in IM2, I lost by 5 FP because Brady shit the bed, then this week Jason Fucking Campbell throws for almost 400 yards against the same Saints defense.

Edited this out, I'm still trying to figure out our tiebreakers.

I have no idea how I ended up second with a first round by in the IM league with Matt Hasselbeck and Jamarcus Russell as my quarterbacks. I tried all year to find someone to trade me a servicable QB to no avail and ended the season with FOUR starters anyway (Hasselbeck, Ryan FItzgerald, Matt Moore and Bruce Gradkowski). Hell, when I play my second round game, I'm thinking of starting Gradkowski.

It was a fun leage, MM. Thanks for inviting me to play. Not as much smack talk as you led me to believe but I think I really did a good job with the team I was given. Lets see how the draft next year can help me...

Skin of my teeth. Damn... these RBs are nearly killing me.
You know, I am really going to appreciate the 1st round bye.

However, in a twelve team league, it should be more fair that there are no byes, and 8 teams get into the playoffs. That may alleviate some of the tie-breaker woes.

Of course, that would be something for next year. I am looking forward to week free of worry!

I more field goal. All I needed was ONE MORE FIELD GOAL in an entire second half. God, Minnesota killed me.
You know, if Drago had bothered to pick up a kicker there's a very real chance the playoffs look a whole lot different.
I could be upset about missing the playoffs on points scored, but that mid-season swoon just killed me. Four weeks ago, I thought I was dead in the water.

I can't believe I won. I didn't watch the game last night, and when I logged in this morning, I was looking for my standings in the wildcard race. I'm simply stunned to have a bye week. Who is Drago, and why doesn't he have a kicker?

Maybe Brees is right: it's karma. It was just my turn.

I do think points scored should be the tiebreaker next season, but didn't all the top point scoring teams actually make it in the end?
Stupid coaching moves cost me a bye. I hate me.

Congrats on the bye/win. We'll meet again. My backs have great match ups. Deja vu in 2 weeks.

I don't think they all did. I can't find the total points by team now, but as of Saturday there was only one team with fewer points for than me, and I won my division.

Oh, yeah. Except for you. Any rule that screws Jankis in the future I'm all in favor of.

Holy shit, not only do I limp into our playoffs, but in one of my other leagues, by virtue of other guys losing this week, the guy who had a higher point total than me made it clean into the playoffs, so I was the points leader/wildcard team, so I made it in as well. Wow. And in my other dynasty league, had I beaten my team this week, I would knocked him out of the playoffs and gotten myself in. Crazy year.

Anya, I gotta say, that was tough luck on Sunday. Remember my joke about your lineup? When I saw Cutler in there, I honestly thought you may have been just trying to psych me out. In my big $$$ league, I've started Hester 2 weeks in a row, and agonized along with 20 million other Chicago fans as he shit the field each week.

Then, by questioning your teams lineup, I thought maybe I was helping solidify your inept QB and leaving Megatron on your bench by hoping you would try to prove that your lineup wasn't a joke.

My condolences on your loss. Like you said, rematch in week 2. Good luck.
Too funny--I got a "Start 'em/Sit 'em" e-mail at 2 AM this morning, and included in the e-mail was the Steelers defense. After the game was over, they recommended to start them.
It really starts today. MY RB's have great match ups vs Milton. Rogers gets Chicago. Very high scoring is my prediction.

Happy needs NO and Indy to score alot to win.

Good luck to all. Except MS.
You won't need luck against me. Rodgers is winning 13-0, and Hasselbeck is down 21-7, yet he has more FP than Rodgers. Ergh.
DeAngelo over Addai? Ouch. Still a 2nd half but that could hurt.
Up by 14 points and I have McNabb/Chris Johnson left vs Tenn D, Bironas, Celek, Smith(NYG), and V Jackson.

Lost 5 point bonus by 1 yard and my kicker left 4 on the field.

I need CJ in a big way. ---25.5 in the 1st from my main man.
I feel pretty good about moving on unless Anquan gets shot on the way to the stadium and Vernon Davis is the entire 49er offense tomorrow night. Next stop, making Jankis cry.
Holy shit, I can't believe I won. Actually, I won in both the leagues I'm in. Between my QB, RBs, and WRs in the CHUD league, I had 2 TDs total. Thank Jebus for Tennessee's defense and kicker.
I would have lost to all of you this week. Hopefully next week Mr McCoy will blow up again.

congrats fucker. V Jackson last catch and the Tenn TD won the game.

Looking at the match ups next week I was in trouble anyway. Andre Johnson and Schaub vs the Rams.

Hopefully I'll score shit next week or I'll be regretting mu CJ bench last week all summer.

I was in four money league playoffs, with 2 of them first round byes. I lost both first round playoff games, even though I had Andre Johnson in both of them with Ray Rice in one and Derrick Mason in the other. Killer luck.

Hope next weeks games go better
I missed the playoffs in my money league by 3 points. I wish it was 30. It sucks to be so close.
Just wanted to mention that my team destroyed everyones scores this week. <cough>talkingtoyouMiltonSteelers</cough>

We're not all done yet though...although maybe Milton is. I haven't checked.
The Milton Steelers are still alive, and unlike the actual Steelers, my defense actually helped me win a game.

Bring it, Mofos!
And as I advance to the second round of the playoffs I get to sit my best player down. Fuck the Colts for clinching home field throughout the playoffs this early.
They do that shit every year. It's a good reason to trade off your Colts for comparable players mid-season.
Hmmm. They're saying that this next game they'll treat as a regular game and won't shut down until the next 2 weeks.

I guess I'll roll the dice.
I needed a miracle today in my other league to stand a chance with the #1 seed. I got it in Roethlisberger...but started Brady instead. Fuck me. I hope that fucking baby doesn't sleep through the night for the whole off-season, you bastard.
The Steelers vs. Jack Lambert's Teeth in the Championship game. Couldn't have planned it any better.
I had my best game in weeks but unless I can get almost 40 from Santana Moss I'm done. It was a miracle I got this far, honestly.

If you would have let me win the last week of the season you would have beaten Milton in round one and me in round 2.

Well, NOW you tell me!!

Oh well, no Bobble-head for me.
Can I get some advice? I'm down 8 points going up against Fred Davis tonight. I need to start two out of Brandon Jacobs, Quinton Ganther and Hakeem Nicks. People keep telling me to go with Jacobs and Nicks, but I feel like Nicks isn't primary enough an option and that Ganther will get fed the ball. Any thoughts?
What's your scoring system?
PPR for backs and receivers, 1 point per 10 yards rushing or receiving, 6 points for TDs.
Start both backs. Nicks is a good option but he won't catch more than 4 passes(I have him). Ganther will catch as much as Nicks and should get more yardage when you add the rushing totals. Nicks is a 4th option.

That being said I lost a first rd bye on a bad coaching move.

Good luck.
Went with Jacobs and Nicks, which is looking good so far.

Well, overall an exciting end to the season for me.

Big Money League - In the championship with a GREAT team (Chris Johnson, Ray Rice, Steven Jackson, Andre Johnson, Antonio Gates). If I win $400, If I lose $250

New League (sorry martianman) - In the championship but it is going to be hard to win. If I win I get $170 if I lose I get $70

Sporting News League - In championship, looks good (Ray Rice, Vincent Jackson, Ochocinco, Randy Moss, Brent Celek, Matt Schaub) - If I win I get $100 if I lost I get $25

So, I can win a minimum of $345 or up to $670

It was a good year

Hey, I was thrilled to make it into the playoffs. I probably could have won my game, but I just didn't play the right guys. Congrats on making the finals. I need a solid RB next season. I thought Marion Barber would be that for me, but he's slipping.

I'm happy to be in the CHUD Championship game. Hopefully I'll be one bobble-head richer after next weekend.
