I think in the grand scheme of inter-tards, she's actually not bad.

Princess Kate is harmless (and VERY easy to ignore). The venom and hostility thrown at her is much more hilarious to behold than any of her posts.

I want to make some of these people in this thread to be the first I put on my ignore list.

I want to be done with this, but for the record I had no part in all the tagging stuff, and my dislike of Kate has nothing to do with lady parts. People are basically just words on a screen here anyway, but I can't imagine a kind or combination of genitalia one could attribute to the posts in G20 thread that would make them less stridently retarded.

On a side note, I bet it chaps Hocken's ass that the whole board went through this tolerance spurt after he got shit on for making a bunch of empty but harmless posts. In any case, she's obviously not going anywhere, and I've had my little gripe, so I'll go back to living and letting. Sorry to have picked at the scab.

Y'know, I can't put my finger on why, but while I think she's mostly harmless, some of Kate's posts do rub me the wrong way, tonally. But ya know what I do when that happens? I skip them. I don't even have her on ignore. I've never put anyone on ignore. But it really is fun to watch others have the mini meltdowns they do over her and her posts. I can almost smell the smoke coming out of their ears. Smells like burnt wiring & hair, mainly.

She just reminds me of Anne Coulter. I have no issues with trying to create discussion but everything she says is so empty. I gave her a chance but here was the one that convinced me none of her opinions were genuine thus, a complete waste of time.

I made a mention (in passing) of the silver suited T-1000 of T2 in a CG discussion and she comes back with how "real" the silver suit looked and how much more "definition" there was in it in comparison to the CG. At this point it was like "Ohhhh... okay, I'm not biting." and I put her on ignore. As if I were Stalin, I have completely erased her from the forum history. Nice feature, CHUD!

While I think it's utterly hilarious watching you all enable her with threads like these, am I the only one that's noticed how little one Master Fleed has been posting since she arrived?

Fleed still posts regularly. He was never anywhere near as prolific as Kate, and he usually only posts on geek shit.

Yes, I read new Fleed posts all the time. The trolls have simply stopped derailing threads every time he shows up, in favor of derailing them every time PK shows up.

Guys, I'd like to think I'm not one for indulging too much in the chewer navel-gazing that goes on around here, I try to be a positive contributor and not get involved in much of the soap operatics and high drama that seems to wash over this wonderful place every 6-12 months or so...

I just think our little community is a bit more fragile than it was twelve months ago and she created a helluva shitstorm even back then.

I ask you to just give me a chance, and I'd ask you to take a moment and look inside yourself and answer this question: With whatever tensions arose before, did the constant stream of threads and posts about me ever do anything to help? I seek no disturbance with anyone, and I'd ask now, at the outset, that those who don't like what I have to say simply put me on ignore

After a PM from Rain Dog I'm going to open this back up and see what happens. If this thread descends into personal attacks (as all threads about Princess Kate seem to end up doing), I'll close it back up. Discussion is okay, attacks are not. If you dont like her, ignore her. But baiting and/or insulting her isnt needed.

I'm glad she's  back. Her posts were improving towards the end of her previous "tenure", and the poster formerly known as Fabfunk proves that a formerly "annoying" presence on these Boards can change.

I'll say this, then I'm done, there was no need to revive this thread, AT ALL. We get it RD, you don't like her, reviving this two year old thread does nothing except encourage people to attack her or defend her, if you were worried that her presence was going to break the fragile back of this site, why did you blatantly call attention to her return in the first place?

In the 24 hours since she's been back, she's posted more about non-superhero movies than a lot of posters have in the last month. Just throwing that out there.
