I totally agree with her. (But I think not-so-many mainstream US actors would agree)

PARADE
.....................
On getting naked on-screen: "When you're playing a fictional character, it's as normal and mundane as eating breakfast. What bothers me is our culture's obsession with nudity. It shouldn't be a big deal, but it is. I think this overemphasis with nudity makes actors nervous. There's the worry about seeing one's body dissected, misrepresented, played and replayed on the Internet."

Let's see her back up her words with actions then. Hubba, hubba.

Oh shit, did I just prove her point?

It's not a big deal, I just would like to see every attractive woman on Earth naked.

Does this mean nudity (besides Bana-butt) in The Time Traveller's Wife? Combined with the time travel aspect, that might be enough to get me to watch what looks like Serendipity dressed up in sci-fi trappings.

Isn't she the one who refused to pose naked with Keira Knightley and Scar Jo for that Vanity Fair cover a couple years back?

As I recall, the story went that she was told it would be a clothes-on shoot from the start and was never indicated otherwise. When the photographer said, "Alright ladies, clothes off!" she balked and quickly left.

You know what? This happens to me all the time. You may have helped me realize the single flaw in my seduction technique. Thanks.
