Rifftrax Doing "Plan 9 From Outer Space"

Well, after seeing the other guys from MST3K do their thing live (thanks, Gray), I saw that Rifftrax is taking theirs on the ol' Fathom Events route.

Closest location to me is the North Point 8 (formerly UA theaters) by North Point mall. Thursday, Aug. 20th at 8 PM. They will be recording at a theater in Nashville, TN and streaming live to other participating theaters.

Incidentally, Alex did an article about this back in July.

I bought tickets for my wife and myself almost immediately after reading Alex's article. I can't wait.

Yeah, I have my ticket to see this at the local Marcus cinema, and I can't wait. I missed out on MST3K: The Movie when it was in theaters (bwahahahaha), so I'm hoping that this makes up for it. In any event, I can't wait.

I wonder what Lowtax from 'Somethingawful' is going to be doing there. He was also on the 'Troll 2' riff (He also gets mentioned in the riff for 'The Room')

It's showing at the Marcus theater down the street from me as well. Not sure if I'm going to bother to head down there or not though.

I've only ever watched 2-3 RiffTrax since they started. I wish someone would come out with a PS3 or 360 app that would let me overlay the RiffTrax audio with the DVD without having to use a separate MP3 player.

Got my tickets for the AMC at Barret Parkway in Kennesaw.

I like rifftrax, I used to buy and watch every riff as they were coming out (now they have a huge library I don't know where to start), really funny stuff.
